  1. Hi Nick, Thank you for the Word file detailing various trade options for the election night— superb! Very helpful indeed.

    Just a quick Question:
Would market sentiment pending earnings results this week have any additional impact on the projected 2% increase in ES due to corp. friendly fiscal policies in the case of a red sweep?
(LLY just had a huge earnings miss- which is a first big miss amongst Mag8 in a long time. Plus, AMD miss and SMCI is down by huge amt, due to accounting scandal etc…)
    Thanks in advance

    1. Hi June, no, it is a much bigger force than a few earnings misses by single companies, as market would anticipate corporation tax cuts and build in the extra cashflow into earnings.

      1. Thanks- Your insights are helpful especially during times when one of our speculative trades take a short term detour.

Nick, at which spy price level do you find attractive to re-speculate on the original 5850 ES call spread strategy, for a red sweep?
I, like many, took a small loss & exited the initial call spread yesterday afternoon, hoping to re-enter at a better price post sell off( Surprised spy broke 571.22 support).

LAstly, I read a report from FS Insight, saying vix shows elevated expected vol until Nov 20th( but I don’t think they are vol experts..)
Would adjusting short leg from the 15th to the 21st be a prudent thing to do? or unnecessary/ introduce additional risk?

  2. Did this word file June mentioned go out by email? I do get some emails from 2 gray beards, but I am not sure I get them all? Is there anyway to check if I am getting them all?

    1. Sorry i just saw your comment- yes its in the research section.
Various research papers from top Investment banks and hedge fund managers are posted daily( around 430am/630am EST), so i read them daily as soon as its uploaded.
Make sure you don’t share them with people outside the group, as its our privilege that Nick shares them with us.

Oh, Nick posts his own letters on certain days (Nick’s letters are in a Word doc vs. others are in a PDF format).
FYI., SOme are very difficult to understand as its meant for professional traders- i try to decipher as much as I can, hoping to get an overall picture.
